The Way of the 3 R’s

I want to point out first that this may not be about fashion or lifestyles. But i want to say that we live in a world where we have trashes all over the world.

According to my sources in America every year, Americans throw away 50 billion food and drink cans, 27 billion glass bottles and jars, and 65 million plastic and metal jar and can covers. More than 30% of our waste is packaging materials. Some 85% of our garbage is sent to a dump, or landfill, where it can take from 100 to 400 years for things like cloth and aluminum to decompose. Glass has been found in perfect condition after 4,000 years in the earth! source: https://www.dkmm.org/reduce-reuse-recycle

As a Filipino here in the Philippines some people does not care and just throw their trashes anywhere they want. I’ve always thought about why cant be like Singapore. You see I have been in Singapore during my summer break. There the streets are clean and there places are well maintained. Why cant we be like this as i kept asking myself. There they have a strict rule of littering, but in the Philippines we are not strict enough to care.

We all need to change our lifestyles for the sake for our environment. We all share a world where we live in.

The Conasauga is one of the six most biologically diverse freshwater river systems in the country. It supports 24 endangered species, and a dozen other imperiled species like the Southern Pigtoe Mussel, and the Conasauga Log Perch, which is a fish found in no other place in the world. Litter and water pollution have a negative impact on the quality of life of these animals reducing their oxygen levels and food sources. source: http://www.dwswa.org/recycle-reuse-articles/

There are many animals that will get affected in our action in throwing our trashes in a wrong place. If you don’t know what the 3 r’s yet let me explain them Reduce,Reuse,Recycle

Reduce

  • Reducing the amount of waste you produce is the best way to help the environment.

Reuse

  • instead of throwing things away, try to find ways to use them again

Recycle

  • Many of the things we use every day, like paper bags, soda cans, and milk cartons, are made out of materials that can be recycled. Recycled items are put through a process that makes it possible to create new products out of the materials from the old ones.

WE ALL HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER!! For the sake of our world and for he people that surrounds us for our future generations. At least use the 3R’s remember to think before you act. Little things can result to a big cause. Always remember to look alive Stay alive

Rodarte came back to New York (instead of Paris) after a two year hiatus. Rodante’s romantic, dream like gowns came to life on the outdoor runway of graves. It was a reminder of the dreaminess that left New York two years ago after Rodarte dropped out. For a brand known for its delicate, yet moody aesthetic, the dark skies and drizzle of the rain couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop. It transports you to a magical land. The Mulleavy sisters know how to make a good comeback.

The new creative director of Carolina Herrera, Wes Gordon debuted his first collection on the runway. Gordon bought color to the runway. A lot of tangerines and oranges dominated his set.
